Know Your Regulator: Consumer Assistance (Hybrid)

Description
As part of an effort to provide affordable and accessible continuing education (CE) for insurance producers, the Kansas Department of Insurance and the Kansas Association of Insurance Agents (KAIA) have partnered to provide a free CE series focused on the different functions of the Department.
This “Know Your Regulator” CE series will feature Department staff members presenting on topics specific to various divisions within the Department. Each session will provide a free, one-hour CE credit for producers.
Session 4: Consumer Assistance
This session will be a broad overview of what the Consumer Assistance Division of the Kansas Department of Insurance assists with. Learn about the consumer complaint process, educational efforts, overseeing the independent medical review program, and monitoring insurance agent compliance with laws and regulations designed for the protection of policyholders.
