As part of an effort to provide affordable and accessible continuing education (CE) for insurance producers, the Kansas Department of Insurance and the Kansas Association of Insurance Agents (KAIA) have partnered to provide a free CE series focused on the different functions of the Department.

This “Know Your Regulator” CE series will feature Department staff members presenting on topics specific to various divisions within the Department. Each session will provide a free, one-hour CE credit for producers.

Session 1: Do's and Don'ts of Producer Licensing 

Learn about the basics of the Licensing Division of the Kansas Department of Insurance. Attendees will learn about the do’s and don’ts of maintaining your producer license, your obligations as a license holder, and examples of common application issues. Additionally, learn (or re-learn) about the fundamentals of the State Based Systems database and the National Insurance Producer Registry.
