As part of an effort to provide affordable and accessible continuing education (CE) for insurance producers, the Kansas Department of Insurance and the Kansas Association of Insurance Agents (KAIA) have partnered to provide a free CE series focused on the different functions of the Department.

This “Know Your Regulator” CE series will feature Department staff members presenting on topics specific to various divisions within the Department. Each session will provide a free, one-hour CE credit for producers.

Session 3: Overview of the Rates and Forms Process

This presentation will give a broad overview while also cover any burning questions you may have about functions of the Department’s Rates and Forms Division. Department staff will walk attendees through the rates and forms approval process, explain the laws and regulations governing rates and forms, and dive into hot topics on the Department’s regulatory role as it relates to current market trends.
